Big Basin Redwoods Store

The historic district, known as the “Governor’s Camp” is located in the Headquarters area of the Park. The concessionaire occupies one of the post CCC era buildings and offers many of the services that were historically provided in Governor’s Camp during the period from 1902 – 1939, including camping supplies and staples, ice, wood, food and beverage prepared to order, gifts and souvenirs and photographic supplies.

From Memorial Day through September 30th, store hours are 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM (Sunday - Thursday) and 8:00 AM - 9:00 PM (Friday and Saturday). In the off season, store hours are 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM. We are closed December and January.

Camping Supplies

The Camp Store carries all the camping supplies you would normally bring to go camping, with the exception of your tent. If you have more than 4 people in your group you may pitch a tent next to your Tent Cabin.

Camp lanterns, stoves and linens can be rented at the Big Basin Store. Quantities are limited on some items and reservations are recommended.

Additional items for rental include:

• Lantern - $8.00/night
• Cook Stove - $10.00/night
• Linen Package (Includes 2 blankets, 2 sheets, 2 pillows with pillowcase) - $15.00
